This month we will take a dual approach by hearing from Dr. G. Sealy Massingill, Chief Medical Officer with Planned Parenthood of Tarrant County, who will discuss the changes over the past three decades in the provision of comprehensive women's health care. We will also hear from mental health expert Anastasia “Stas” Taylor, LCSW-S, Founder and CEO of Alliance Child & Family Solutions, who will share how our mental health as women and generations to come can be affected. We look forward to hearing from these experts as they share knowledge on how we can best manage the decisions law makers are facing.

Dr. G. Sealy Massingill
Dr. Massingill graduated from THE University of Texas at Austin in December 1980 and from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1985. He began his career as an intern at John Peter Smith hospital in his hometown of Fort Worth shortly thereafter, completing OBGYN residency in 1989. After serving in the United States Air Force, he returned to John Peter Smith and joined the clinical faculty as Director of Outreach Clinics. His career at JPS saw him serve as President of Medical Staff and the Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In January 2017, he assumed the role of Chief Medical Officer for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas.
Currently, Dr. Massingill serves as chair of the newly-created Texas Medical Association Section for LGBTQ Health. He serves ACOG as a delegate to the American Medical Association. He is a member of the AMA Council on Long Range Planning and Development. He is past president of the Texas Medical Association Foundation and current member of the Texas Medical Association Council on Science and Public Health. Dr. Massingill is past President and a current member of the Tarrant County Medical Society Board of Directors.
Dr. Massingill has been married to his wife, Debbie since 1981 and has three adult children. He is an avid amateur golfer and a fervent University of Texas Longhorn fan.
Anastasia "Stas" Taylor, LCSW-S
Anastasia is bilingual in Spanish/English and is passionate about providing services that meet clients where they are at in their journey. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Supervisor (LCSW-S) and is extensively trained in a variety of therapeutic models. Anastasia works with ages 3 - 103 and specializes in working with foster care and adoption, blended families, life transitions in late adulthood, social-emotional learning, and trauma for individuals of all ages.
Anastasia lives in the Fort Worth area and enjoys spending time with her kiddos and two dogs. She is very passionate about foster/adoption causes and is a foster/adoptive parent herself. In her free time, she enjoys a wide variety of interests, including traveling, puzzles, the arts, crafting, gardening, volunteering, sports activities for her children, and frequenting various coffee shops.
